The Austin Golden Retriever Club (AGRC) is supported by a diverse group of people, united by their love for Golden Retrievers and the joy of sharing their lives and activities with them. Club members participate in many activities with their Golden Retrievers, whether it's field work, obedience, conformation, agility, hiking, pet therapy, or simply hanging out.

 

As an AKC club, the objectives of the Club are to do all that is possible to preserve and perfect the natural qualities of the purebred Golden Retriever; to urge members and breeders to accept the breed standard as approved by the AKC; to protect and advance the interests of the Golden Retriever by encouraging sportsmanlike conduct at dog events; and to conduct licensed specialty shows, agility trials, and field trials.

AGRC is a designated 501 C-4 non-profit organization focused on education.  Members are always eager to share information about Golden Retrievers and to educate the public on responsible dog ownership.
